The Dr Who Tour

We start this tour by visiting the only remaining TARDIS (London police box) then it’s off and spinning around London as we see the film location sites from the Dr Who films and series. As the series has grown in popularity so has this tour.

This is a 3 hour whistle stop tour around London and during our tour you will get a chance to stand next to a REAL TARDIS for photographs, see where scenes where shot during the making of The Chase, Dalek Invasion of Earth and a lot more. Sit back and enjoy 3hours of fun and two tours for the price of one. Once collected from your hotel your guide will take you around Central London (and some Hidden spots) showing you a selection of the location sites of Doctor Who from 1963 to the present day.

Doctor Who first appeared on television on 23rd November 1963 with William Hartnell as the Doctor. Fifty years on Peter Capaldi (12th Doctor) is still going strong. This tour will fly you around London (in a Taxi not a TARDIS) showing you some of the most popular London film locations of Dr WHO over the past 50 years. We will stop at each location and learn about the episode and get great photographs.

Whilst driving from site to site your intrepid Time Lord /Driver Guide will also show you the sites of London as you pass them. There are Photo stops galore We will hear about Daleks, Cybermen, Headless Monks, The Silence, River Song, Weeping Angels, all the modern day assistants and all the modern day Doctors.

Have a photograph standing next to the only remaining TARDIS (London police box) on a London street, then it’s off spinning around London as we see the film location sites from the Dr Who series. As the series has grown in popularity so has this tour. We now have several options that you can book See where scenes were shot during the making of The Chase, Dalek Invasion of Earth and a lot more. Stand on the bridge where the Daleks start their invasion of London, have a photo on the exact spot Rose and the Doctor stood in by the London Eye. Stand outside the building that became 10 Downing Street, follow the 11th Doctor as he and Clara assistant drive through London on a motor bike.

There will be trivia questions (do you know why in the original series, two of the main characters were science and history teachers ? We will tell you). There will also be great anecdotal stories of the Doctors, their assistants, writers, locations and the future for the Doctor. During our tour you will see where Downing Street was recreated, see where Rose lived. Have your picture taken standing by a real Tardis. (We will also visit the site of where a new Tardis is being built). We will see where Daleks roamed the streets of London, along with numerous other enemies of the Doctor.
