Downton Abbey VIP Tour

Become Lord or Lady Grantham for the day as we visit the film locations of the period drama Downton Abbey…

We will collect you from your Central London hotel and drive you through London and out into the Oxfordshire countryside. Our first stops are in Oxfordshire, where we visit the villages that became the village of Downton. Here we can have photographs outside Matthew Crawley’s house, the Hospital, Village church and the two village pubs. There are far too many other locations to list here, plus we don’t wish to spoil all the surprises for you.

This is a VIP tour so of course we have arranged for you to discuss the filming with the locals and visit inside a village home used in the filming (owner being in of course). You will have time to buy Downton souvenirs before we move on.

We visit several other villages which are a secret to surprise you that have featured in the series. Leaving the villages behind us we start to head cross country to Highclere Castle, stopping in the countryside for lunch at an old English Pub. We arrive at Highclere Castle after lunch and your VIP tour continues. Your Guide will collect your entry tickets from the Castle to tour the Gardens, Castle, and Egyptian Exhibition. He will also have a special DOWNTOWN ABBEY invitation. This wonderful invitation is exclusive to this tour only and makes a wonderful souvenir of your day.
